1. Do I need to buy multiple passes if I’m watching with other people?

You only need to buy one pass per household to watch. If you buy multiple passes, those extra you buy will be for people outside of your household or (for All-Access and VIP Passes) if you need more than one Event Day Kit.

2. If I buy multiple passes, why do I need to provide a unique email address for each attendee?

We need a unique email address for each attendee so that they can login to the platform and access all of the day’s content.

3. How will I watch and participate in TEDxLondonWomen on the day?

  • All attendees will need access to a web-enabled device with a strong internet connection.
  • If you purchase a Basic Pass, you will receive an email link to watch the live Speaker Sessions.
  • If you purchase an All Access or VIP Pass, you will receive login details to access the event dashboard, where you will watch the live Speaker Sessions and participate in the interactive elements of the day. For the interactive elements, you will also need access to Zoom, and we recommend your device has a working webcam and microphone.

4. What’s included in the Event Day Kit?

If you purchase an All Access or VIP Pass, you will receive:

  • The TEDxLondonWomen 2020 canvas tote bag
  • A fiction or nonfiction book picked by our Literary Partner, Penguin
  • The TEDxLondonWomen 2020 Magazine

5. When will my Event Day Kit arrive?

If you’ve purchased an All Access or a VIP Pass on or before the 15th January, your Kit will arrive by the 6th February, in time for the event. If you purchase one of these passes after the 15th January, the Kit may not arrive in time for the 6th February, but will be with you as soon as possible!

6. Are Event Day Kits available for attendees outside of the UK?

Unfortunately, we are only able to provide Kits to UK addresses.

7. I won’t be able to make it on the 6th February. Can I still buy a ticket and tune in afterwards?

The event will be live streamed and won’t be available to watch at a later date. However, the talks from the day will be available on the official TEDx YouTube channel in February 2021.

8. I’ve bought a ticket but now can’t make it. Can I get a refund?

  • If you have purchased a Basic Pass, you can claim a refund at any time.
  • If you have purchased an All-Access or VIP Pass, you can claim a refund up to the 15th January.

9. Is the event suitable for children?

There is no age restriction to attend, however we do advise parental or guardian discretion for children under 16 years of age. We may also cover themes that some attendees may find distressing. We endeavour to provide trigger warnings prior to this content.

11. Can I find out what time certain speakers will be giving their talks?

We will be publishing the list of speakers in each Session at the end of November.

12. Can I purchase a Pass to see a specific Live Speaker Session?

All Passes give you access to all 3 Live Speaker Sessions on the 6th February. We don’t sell Passes to just one or two sessions.
