Disability specialist and social entrepreneur (she/her)
Shani Dhanda is a multi-award-winning disability specialist and social entrepreneur listed as one of the UK’s most influential disabled people and BBC’s 100 Women of 2020.
As a keynote speaker and practitioner for inclusion across business, government and broader society, Shani helps organisations break barriers and integrate inclusion into their business frameworks.
As an influential woman in leadership, Shani has taken change into her own hands and founded numerous organisations to improve representation and challenge social inequality globally – Diversability, Asian Woman Festival, and Asian Disability Network.
As a subject matter expert, Shani brings the voices of disabled people and their organisations to policy development for the UK Government’s Disability Unit. Her list of accolades includes CEO Magazine’s Most Influential Women in Leadership, European Diversity Awards Campaigner of the Year, amongst many other awards and recognitions. Shani loves travelling and has visited 36 countries and counting.
